You’ve all heard a friend at work brag about how they have “American Netflix” and it’s “so much better” because it has “so many more shows/movies/cartoons/etc.”  You’ve been curious, but that friend at work is a bit of a tech geek, and you’re not comfortable messing around with your current setup, and maybe he/she hasn’t showered this week, and you just don’t want to slide down that slippery slope of geeky personal hygiene.  Well, never fear!  Signing up for American Netflix has never been easier. As a matter of fact, your current Netflix account already has access to the American version of Netflix, at absolutely no extra charge, we just need to unblock it!  And that’s what I’m here to help you do!

Well how does this new, fandangled magic I’m promoting work?  It’s really simple.

Follow this link: https://www.smartdnsproxy.com/?afid=8a9170a88d5f. As a matter of disclaimer, I am an affiliate for SmartDNS Proxy.  They’re a wonderful service that I cannot recommend highly enough, and you can learn more about them hereTHE SERVICE THEY PROVIDE IS NOT FREE.Their service is $5/m, with a FREE TWO WEEK TRIAL! Ha! Bet you didn’t see the part where it was free for a week coming, did you?

Head to SmartDNS Proxy, and sign up for their service.  Once you have completed that, you’ll need to change your DNS location on whichever connected devices you want to be able to access the American version of Netflix.  This is a very easy process on all devices, and the kind folks at SmartDNS Proxy have provided us with a great tutorial to get you set up.

This, of course, assumes you have a Netflix subscription.  Again, I’m not here to tell you how to steal Netflix either (you dirty scoundrel).  Pay your damn bills.

And that’s really it!  Now, on whatever device you have updated the DNS settings, you will be able to watch the American version of Netflix, while still maintaining your Canadian subscription on all other devices!  As always, if you need help with this tutorial, please feel free to email me at help@wwenet.ca.  I try to respond to emails as quickly as possible!
